Words are often unnecessary. We sometimes treat our time with God as if it's a human conversation, one in which we do most of the talking, if we're honest.  In itself this is not a problem, but it belies a deeper belief that we need to fill space with something, rather than just being in God's presence.  We adopt a Martha attitude, instead of a Mary heart.

In my journey to the heart of God, I have found great joy and profound communion with Christ in increasingly creative and contemplative ways.  I have followed the Holy Spirit's leading in my prayer life, seeking after meditative and artistic practices that unraveled emotional knots, unwrapped God's purposes for me, and drawn me into the heart of community.  These are my own personal practices– some are new while others have been practiced for centuries, or even millennia– and while they have not taken the place of more common ways of praying, they have added a depth to my life that cannot be understated.

Wordless Prayer is an invitation into these practices.

Gary Thomas calls the ways we naturally connect with God, "sacred pathways."

"What is a 'sacred pathway'? Put very simply, it describes the way we relate to God, how we draw near to him. Do we have just one pathway? Not necessarily. Most of us, however, will naturally have a certain predisposition for relating to God, which is our predominant spiritual temperament." ~Thomas, Sacred Pathways {aff}

Maybe you're interested in deepening your experience of God, learning to walk out this faith life beyond the borders of "quiet time." Maybe you would hear Jesus more clearly, and be able to follow Him more closely, if you tried something new.

I would love to share with you the creative prayer practices that have allowed me to experience more of the fullness of God.

  2. Education is the primary agent of transformation towards sustainable development, increasing people's capacities to transform their visions for society into reality. Education not only provides scientific and technical skills, it also provides the motivation, and social support for pursuing and applying them. For this reason, society must be deeply concerned that much of current education falls far short of what is required.http://www.careerpanth.xyz/
